Think about it, wedding photographs are special, not only because they can let you relive the most important day of your life, but you may happen to come across moments which you may have missed during the wedding. Someone may have played a harmless prank on someone else, or someone could have made a funny face, pictures taken during the speech, how people’s faces looked when the vows were exchanged, etc.
The best part in using AnvSoft Wedding Album Maker is, you don’t need any experience in editing photos, or even have to call the photographer for making a slideshow. AnvSoft has designed Wedding Album Maker to be user-friendly, and you will be able to create slideshows CDs, DVDs, or videos in various formats with ease.
This is reflected in the GUI of the application, which almost resembles Windows File Explorer. But that’s just part of the interface though. Let’s walk you through the rest, starting with the menubar.
You can start a new slideshow project, open one which you saved earlier, or save your current work from the File menu. There is an option to explore the temporary folder which the program uses, and a shortcut to access the most recently used files.
The Organize Menu, and the Organize Photos tab in the main screen work similarly. You can use the toolbar or the menu option to add photos, a blank image, or video clips which you want to use in your slideshows. You can also use the mouse to drag and drop photos from Windows File Explorer, on to the AnvSoft Wedding Album Maker interface.
You can import the following image formats to Wedding Album Maker: BMP, JPEG, JPG, PNG, TIFF. Video formats which you can import include the following: MPEG, MP4, AVI, DivX AVI, WMV, VOB, MOV, FLV, RM/RMVB, ASF. What good is a slideshow without music right? You can add tracks which are in the following audio formats: MP3, WAV, WMA. You can also rip sound tracks from Audio CDs directly in the program.
The Organize menu and toolbar also allow you to rotate the photos by 90-degrees, randomize the order of the slides, create or delete albums, change the aspect ratio between 4:3 or 16:9, and adjust the fit/fill.
When you add photos or videos for creating a slideshow, the added media content is displayed on the bottom of the Organize Photo tab, in the form of thumbnails. Clicking on a photo or video here, displays a larger thumbnail of the same on the right side of the explorer pane.
Clicking on the Transition & Music tab, opens up more options. Besides adding music files, you can add various animation effects, aka transitions for the slideshow. These animations occur when a photo disappears and the next one in the queue takes its place. You can configure the duration for which the audio should play, along with the number of seconds a transition effect should run, and the duration for which a photo is displayed, in the same pane. You can also select a background color for the slideshow, and set Pan & Zoom options from the right side of the pane. The preview panel here is especially useful, as it gives you an idea what your slideshow will be like.
Clicking on the Text option in the toolbar, allows you to add one of several Pan & Zoom effects, Subtitles, and configure the brightness, color balance, contrast and gamma controls. There are 2 important options here: Text and ArtClips.
Text, as the name suggests can be used to add a caption or title for every slide. ArtClips basically lets you add a picture to a slide, and there are several built-in cliparts to choose from. Of course, you can also use your own pictures too.
The Album Theme tab, can be used to add opening or closing credits with custom text, transition effects, and you can also choose the font size and the color of the text and the background.
The Choose Menu tab (and the Menus menubar) in AnvSoft Wedding Album Maker, function the same way, in that you can add a background music, a background image for your CD or DVD menu. There are various menu templates available in the right edge of this screen. You can also edit the title text, select the font style, size, color, etc, and also the elements which will be visible on the menu (menu title, album title, album thumbnail, etc). You can also select the DVD Menu Navigation options, and preview the menu from the same tab.
AnvSoft Wedding Album Maker’s Burn Disc and Create menu, can be used to create various types of slideshow discs including DVD Video, VCD 2.0 Still Images Video, SVCD Video, Blu-Ray and AVCHD disc formats. You are not limited to creating discs, as you can also create slideshow movies which can be played on computers, mobile phones, tablets, etc.
And if you do not know which video format is compatible with your device, you can use the device profiles which are available in the program. How does this help? Well, when you just click on a device name, or a OS type, the program automatically chooses a video format, which will work on the selected device. Some of the supported video output formats in the application include FLV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MP4, AVI, DivX AVI, HD MP4, AVC H.264, and even YouTube compatible videos.
Creating a Wedding Album DVD doesn’t get any simpler than this, and we are confident that you will agree with us.
